For our first athlete of the week, Sophomore Bella Lapierre of the girls varsity soccer team knotted a 3 goal performance against Keene, followed by a crucial assist in a hard fought win over Lebanon. These performances led her to be nominated for the NHTI Community College player of the week, going up against nominees from all over the state. In the end, she won the player of the week, beating out all other candidates. Congrats to Bella!

Congratulations to sophomore Andrew DeBello for being a quarterfinalist in the Medal Flight of the NHIAA Individual Bowling Tournament. Andrew was the only CBNA bowler to qualify for this elite event by holding one of the top 64 averages in the state during the regular season. Andrew's consistent bowling in the first round of the tournament was enough to get him to the knockout stage round of 16. Under pressure and bowling on challenging oil patterns he rolled a 200 game to defeat the No. 4 seed from Dover and move into the quarter final. A couple of unlucky breaks in his last game sealed his fate against strong competition from Stevens High School, who won the NHIAA Team Tournament a week ago. Great work Andrew on a fantastic season and tournament finish!
CBNA Senior Ethan Vachon has been shaking up the bowling world in the last couple of weeks. Ethan has been a consistent bowler for the Bears all season long, averaging a little over 100 pins per game. However, in CBNA's two most recent competitions all that changed. Vachon has come to life, throwing down strikes and spares like they are going out of style. He obliterated his previous average and scored a personal match high game of 146 during week 5 only to outdo himself with a new personal match high game of 154 during week 6. These scores have propelled him into one of the coveted spots on CBNA's premiere varsity bowling squad. Three matches remain in the season and we can't wait to see where Ethan goes next.

Congrats Chris on a job well done!!!!!
Sophomore Kalina Kasprzak has had a breakout season for CBNA Girls Basketball, averaging over 10 points per game on the season. She kept up this strong season last week, averaging 11 points per game in their three games last week. Her highlight performance was an 18 point performance in a win against Souhegan. The girls are currently sitting in 12th place, and Kasprzak is a huge reason for this. We are excited to see how the girls and Kasprzak finish off their season this week.

The CBNA boys basketball team had a marathon week, playing 5 games in 6 days. Senior Jack Lano had a standout week, scoring double digits in 4 of the games. Highlighting the week for Lano were 18 point performances against John Stark and Bow and a 16 point performance against Bishop Brady. Lano finished off his season strong, and he looks to carry that momentum into the playoffs.
